1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Audio Chatly offers a 7-day money-back guarantee for all paid subscription plans (Starter, Plus, and Professional). If you are not satisfied with the Service within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, we will provide a full refund of your subscription fee.

This guarantee applies only to the first subscription payment. Renewals and subsequent payments are subject to the standard refund policy below.

2. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please:

  1. Contact us at audio.chatly@gmail.com with your account email and reason for refund
  2. Include your transaction ID (found in your Stripe receipt)
  3. Specify whether you want a full refund or partial refund (if applicable)

Processing Time: Refund requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Usage-based charges (e.g., additional audio minutes beyond plan limits, if offered)
  • Subscriptions beyond the 7-day money-back guarantee period
  • Renewal payments (cancellation of auto-renewal prevents future charges)
  • Free Trial periods (no payment required)

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by User

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to all features until the end of your paid period.

Note: Regular cancellations (without refund) allow continued access until the end of your billing period. If you request a refund within the 7-day guarantee period, your subscription will be cancelled immediately and access to premium features will end.

4.2 Cancellation by Audio Chatly

We reserve the right to cancel your subscription if:

  • You violate our Terms of Service
  • You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks occur
  • You use the Service for illegal purposes

In the event of cancellation by Audio Chatly for violations, refunds are not provided.

5. Refund Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a refund, you must:

  • Request the refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase
  • Have a valid subscription account in good standing
  • Not have violated our Terms of Service
  • Provide accurate information and documentation when requested

Refunds are issued at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet these criteria or that appear to be fraudulent.

6. Partial Refunds

In exceptional circumstances, we may offer partial refunds for:

  • Service outages or significant performance issues affecting your ability to use the Service
  • Billing errors on our part
  • Promotional discounts or pricing mistakes

Partial refunds are calculated based on the unused portion of your subscription and are determined on a case-by-case basis.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us directly, your account may be suspended or terminated.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing issues. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through our support team, and we are committed to finding a fair solution.

8. Annual Subscription Refunds

For annual subscriptions, refunds are calculated as follows:

  • First 7 days: Full refund available
  • After 7 days: No refunds, but you can cancel to prevent renewal

Annual subscriptions are discounted compared to monthly plans. If you receive a refund, you will be refunded the full amount paid, and the subscription will be cancelled immediately.

9. Data After Refund

Upon receiving a refund, your subscription will be cancelled immediately, and you will lose access to premium features. However, you will have a 30-day grace period to export your data before permanent deletion.

During the 30-day grace period after refund, you can:

  • Access and export your transcripts
  • Download your account data
  • View (but not create new) content

After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted. We recommend exporting your data immediately after requesting a refund to ensure you retain your information.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.

Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
